Davide Osellamebegan his piano studies with Anita Gardin and subsequently with Micaela Mingardo with whom he graduated with highest honors from the Conservatory "C. Pollini" of Padua. He attended numerous courses and piano seminars: with Aldo Ciccolini, Irwin Gage, Alexander Lonquich. In 2002 he studied composition for Film Music with Luis Bacalov at the Chigiana Academy, an experience which enabled him to create soundtracks for short films set.
Since 2001, he has been a student of Michele Campanella, (the successor to Vincenzo Vitale's Neapolitan Piano School), first in "Villa Rufolo" of Ravello (Salerno), later in the "Academy of St. Cecilia" of Portogruaro (Venice) and finally in the "Chigiana Academy" of Siena. He performed in Rome at the Santa Cecilia Academy in the "Liszt Marathon" which was conceived and produced by Michele Campanella, the greatest Liszt's interpreter. This is the first ever world project ever presenting the entire the repertoire for piano by F. Liszt. He plays concerts as a soloist and in chamber music ensemble, getting substantial critical acclaim and audience. He partnered with various Ochestras, including the Philharmonic Orchestra of Padua and Veneto Philharmonic Orchestra performing the Concertos for Piano and Orchestra KV 449, KV 467 and KV 488 by Mozart. In 2008 he performed in the premiere world recording pieces by Angelo Gentili (the concert were recorded by RAI Turin for RAI Educational) and Songs for Voice and Piano by Michele Bellucci. He has achieved the "Instrument Diplom" for Piano Pedagogic and Didactic Education and the "Sound Tecnician Diploma". Davide Osellame is a Steinway & Sons Artist. |
